Cloud Engineer

At the heart of our organization, we are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Expert with a strong background in AWS. This role involves leading migration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration and optimization of cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), a solid understanding of AWS services, and proven experience in designing and executing cloud migration strategies.

We are looking for a skilled professional to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with organizational objectives.

This includes ensuring high performance, security, and compliance in all OCI environments, driving continuous improvement, automation, and best practices in cloud operations.

• Design and implement scalable OCI architecture, leveraging Oracle Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless transition and integration.
• Build automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and post-migration issues.
• Enforce governance, compliance, and security standards in OCI.
• Provide guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders on OCI and cloud adoption.
• Deliver training and mentorship to internal technical teams.
• Contribute to process standardization and documentation of all migration and deployment activities.
• Manage ad hoc cloud-related tasks and participate in strategic planning initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key qualifications include 5–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.

Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC) and migration tooling is also essential.

Familiarity with Oracle database technologies (Oracle DB, MySQL, Autonomous DB) and related migration techniques is a plus.

A strong command of cloud networking, security, and identity management is required.

In addition, proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) and automation frameworks is necessary.

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
• Expertise in OCI components including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Databases.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC) and migration tooling.
• Proven experience with cloud migration methodologies: re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
• Familiar with Oracle database technologies (Oracle DB, MySQL, Autonomous DB) and related migration techniques.
• Skilled in DevOps practices and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
