As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and reliability of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the overall health, performance, efficiency, and capacity of our production environment.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of systems used to operate our platform with a focus on automation and maintainability at large scale.
  • Develop and implement large-scale CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with development teams on operations-related issues, providing support and acting as a stakeholder.
  • Maintain production-like environments for product teams by providing fast and reliable development environments.
  • Design and implement tools to effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack – hardware, software, application, and network.
  • Migrate applications off legacy environments with minimal downtime.
  • Participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Document system design and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with significant experience in DevOps.
  2. AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  3. 4+ years of experience supporting hosted services in a high-volume customer-facing environment.
  4. Experience working with distributed systems and supporting mission-critical systems.
  5. Proficiency in writing programs/utilities using programming languages like Go, Ruby, Python, and Bash.
  6. Experience managing infrastructure at scale using container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  7. Experience migrating from traditional technology stacks to AWS EKS or similar.
