Senior Automation Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished automation specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development of comprehensive automation solutions, strategically planning and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop innovative test automation strategies.
  • Design and implement automated testing processes, leveraging current tools and methodologies.
  • Oversee the delivery of automation solutions, establishing end-to-end QA processes from requirement analysis to test reporting.
  • Develop enterprise-wide QA strategies for diverse clients, involving functional and automation testing across multiple tech stacks.
  • Manage testing activities, ensuring robust models are used for resource planning and accurate reporting.
  • Mentor and guide team members on technical aspects, promoting adherence to company standards and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10-14 years of overall testing experience, with at least 4+ years in establishing test automation frameworks, evaluating tools, and implementing continuous testing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience developing frameworks for Green Field Projects.
  • Proficiency in Java/JavaScript programming languages, including Java collections frameworks.
  • Experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, SOAPUI, etc.
  • Strong experience in UI or API automation, including Webservices/Microservices automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab (preferred) or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and tools like Sauce Labs, Perfecto, Selenium, WebdriverIO, NightWatchJS.
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Familiarity with methodologies like Agile, BDD, DevOps. Industry experience in Financial Services is preferred.
