Network Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our technical team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our growing network infrastructure with a strong focus on F5 Load Balancers.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM platforms, as well as experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale networks. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure network strategies align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • F5 Load Balancer Configuration and Maintenance (50%): Configure and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager) devices.
  • General Network Troubleshooting and Support (30%): Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and performance. Resolve complex network problems and operating issues.
  • Policy Development and Documentation (10%): Develop and maintain network configuration documentation, network maps, and process records. Construct and uphold policies and procedures for network administration and security.
  • Collaboration and Communication (10%): Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure network strategies align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in network engineering with a significant focus on F5 load balancing architecture.
  • Deep understanding of F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM platforms.
  • Understanding of linux-based operating systems and a working knowledge of web-based applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to translate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
