Procurement Specialist Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting market research to identify new product trends and opportunities in various categories.

You will evaluate and source potential suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing. This includes negotiating product pricing and production schedules with suppliers, collaborating with the marketing team to develop product descriptions, packaging, and promotional materials, as well as managing the product development timeline and ensuring timely launches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify emerging product trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluating and sourcing potential suppliers and manufacturers to meet business needs.
  • Negotiating product pricing and production schedules with suppliers to achieve optimal results.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop product descriptions, packaging, and promotional materials that drive sales.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines to ensure successful product launches.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 1+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of related categories and market trends.
  • Excellent sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education

A Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and drive results through collaboration and strategic planning.
