Job Summary

  • We are seeking a diligent and organized Human Resources professional to join our team as an HR Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring effective management of employee records, recruitment processes, and other HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • To act as a first point of contact for all customers to the Human Resources team, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • To provide an effective Human Resources administration service, including maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating recruitment systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • To co-ordinate HR recruitment systems, including safer recruitment practices, to ensure that the best candidates are selected for vacant positions.
  • To maintain accurate HR records on all employees, including full-time, part-time, and interns, ensuring that data is up-to-date and secure.
  • To provide HR reports as required, analyzing data to inform business decisions and improve HR processes.
  • To carry out general administration tasks for the HR Department, including sorting post, telephone answering, and managing the HR inbox.
  • To maintain electronic and paper-based personnel files, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible.
  • To conduct induction meetings with new employees and interns, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • To administer the probation process, ensuring that managers are aware of review meeting dates and times.

Requirements

  • A strong background in Human Resources administration, with experience in recruitment, employee relations, and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
