Automated Testing and Quality Assurance Role

The incumbent will be responsible for architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks, in addition to creating, implementing, and automating testing in support of software test requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans across multiple testing types.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SOAPUI.
  • Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
  • Carry out regression testing to validate new releases and system updates.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements, QA best practices, and test automation initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Familiarity with automation scripting and programming basics.
  • Hands-on experience in testing REST & SOAP APIs.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of databases.
  • A self-starter mindset, quick learner, proactive, and a great team player.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
