Lead Facilities Manager Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the facilities management team, ensuring delivery of FM services across all assigned sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the facilities management team and overseeing the delivery of FM services
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Full accountability for budgeting and financial management, including OPEX and CAPEX
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) regulations, client standards, and local laws
  • Monitoring contract performance, key performance indicator (KPI) compliance, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and cost optimization
  • Preparing high-quality monthly reports and ensuring governance requirements are met
  • Providing innovative solutions for complex technical and operational challenges
  • Recruiting, developing, and mentoring FM staff to achieve performance goals
  • Overseeing project management of small to medium-sized engineering projects

Frequent travel within the territory is required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Facilities Management certification is required
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a facilities management role, preferably in an outsourced environment
  • Strong financial knowledge with experience in budgeting and variance analysis
  • Proven track record in project management and technical problem-solving
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in demanding environments
Skills
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable solutions
  • Computer literacy (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of workplace health & safety standards
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of gas station technology
  • Familiarity with FMP (maintenance management systems)
  • Recognized HSE qualification
  • Multilingual ability
