Project Management Opportunity

Magma is seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee software development projects and teams.

This role entails:

  • Leading the full software development lifecycle for multiple, concurrent projects
  • Executing project management of multiple projects based on Agile-type delivery methodologies
  • Evaluating information and translating it into project plans and tracking tasks, milestones, and deliverables
  • Ensuring adherence to proper techniques and standard methodology relating to planning, communication, integration, and implementation of work efforts

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proven experience in people management, risk management, and change management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint
  • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills and effective verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • GIS skills will be advantageous

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle is required
  • Demonstrable Agile Product Management experience of at least 2 years is necessary
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
  • At least 3-5 years of project management-related experience is necessary

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing software development projects and teams in Islamabad, Pakistan.
