Our goal is to secure a skilled and dedicated professional as an Agro Territory Manager. This key role will support farmers in producing high-quality seed and chip-stock for PepsiCo's Crisp (chips) processing under the direction of company management and agricultural experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crop Monitoring and Data Extraction: Monitor crops and extract data from assigned growers on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Data Validation and Advisory Services: Validate data from assigned Agro Interns through combined visits, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Farm Advisory and Best Practices: Promote the adoption of best agro practices in the field by offering farm advisory services and conducting training sessions for field teams and farmers' staff.
  • Crop Performance Insights: Offer insights into crop performance to management and recommend corrective actions to growers, ensuring optimal yields and quality.
  • Device Configuration and Data Management: Configure SmartAGRO devices and manage master data creation and maintenance, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.
  • Research and Development: Assist the Agro Regional Manager in variety trials, evaluation, and research as needed, driving innovation and progress.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop new areas to extend the fresh window for continuous potato supply, reducing reliance on storage and securing high-quality potatoes.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Train field teams and farmers' staff on crop best practices, improving skills and knowledge.
  • Agrimachinery and Field Operations: Utilize agromachinery and field operation solutions for cost-effective and quality management.
  • Project Management: Manage specific potato projects and programs under direction, achieving set goals and objectives.
  • Grower Support: Support the Agro Regional Manager in procuring AOP volumes, addressing grower needs and concerns.
  • Field Testing and Complaint Handling: Conduct field testing, collect data, and handle growers' complaints, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Agriculture graduate preferred; master's degree in production sciences or related fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of pests and their control.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and local languages.
  • Analytical and Result-Oriented Approach: Strong analytical skills and result-oriented approach, driving productivity and success.
  • Work Experience: 3-4 years of experience at a supervisory level in an agribusiness company.
