Job Overview

As a farm management specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting growers to produce high-quality crop and meet international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crop monitoring and data extraction from assigned growers on a weekly basis.
  • Data validation of assigned field experts through combined visits and assessments.
  • Providing advisory services and promoting the adoption of best agricultural practices in the field.
  • Ensuring visibility of crop performance in the field and recommending corrective actions to growers.
  • Configuring precision farming devices and maintaining master data.
  • Assisting the regional manager in variety trials, evaluations, and research as required.
  • Developing new strategies to extend the fresh window for continuous supply, reducing reliance on storage and ensuring quality crops.
  • Training field teams and farmers' staff on crop best practices.
  • Utilizing agricultural machinery and operation solutions for cost-effective management.
  • Managing specific projects and programs under direction.
  • Supporting the regional manager in procurement and field testing.
  • Implementing sustainable agriculture practices with certification.
Qualifications:
  • Agriculture graduate preferred; Master's Degree in Production Sciences (PBG, Agronomy & Plant Science, Soil sciences, and Horticulture).
  • Knowledge of crop growing areas, farmers, and management techniques.
  • Technical expertise in pest control and management.
  • Fluent language skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and result-oriented approach.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience at a supervisory level in an agricultural company.
