Key Responsibilities
  • Lead impactful projects that drive meaningful impact in academic decision-making.
  • Prioritize student and advisor needs, driving positive outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, following best practices like accessibility and security.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engage in customer discussions to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Take full ownership of project execution, ensuring minimal disruptions and efficient delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development and growth.
  • Contribute to broader engineering initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and technical scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, familiarity with ElasticSearch and AWS is a plus.
  • Testing & Code Quality: Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Project Delivery: Proven track record of delivering impactful projects in close collaboration with PMs and designers.
  • Ownership & Accountability: Take full responsibility for delivering high-impact projects, ensuring top-notch quality, and meeting deadlines.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, helping them develop technical skills and foster their growth within the team.
  • Collaboration: Excel in cross-functional teamwork, working closely with other teams like Product, Design, and Customer Success.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, managing shifting priorities with ease and delivering scalable solutions.
