Operational Risk Management Senior Analyst - Assistant Vice President

This role is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and robust Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA) program, also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), to improve identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational risk events in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help execute control activities in support of the MCA program, ensuring adherence to Operational Risk Management (ORM) Policy & Framework.
  • Assist in the MCA program, including annual/semiannual/quarterly/monthly attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting.
  • Identify, analyze, and assess potential risks, ensuring timely identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational events.
  • Execute MCA in accordance with ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
  • Develop and maintain ORM tools and methodologies to support accurate and consistent assessments of the risk and control environment.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide recommendations to enhance or improve the MCA program.
  • Support the MCA tracking and reporting inventory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
  • Strong knowledge in the development and execution of controls.
  • Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry.
  • Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
