Embedded Software Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the DevOps/QA strategy for embedded software using modern DevOps infrastructure and tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and QA processes, as well as experience with C/C++, Python, and shell scripting. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote teams.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Developing and testing unit tests for embedded platforms
  • Working on real-time operating systems and virtualization solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Understanding of software development and QA processes
  • Experience with Git-based tools such as GitHub and GitLab
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile model

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Containers (Dockers etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines (preferably Gitlab pipelines and Github actions)
  • Device drivers testing experience
  • Experience of working in open source preferably Zephyr RTOS
