Network Infrastructure Specialist

The role of the Network Infrastructure Specialist is to work full-time across Pakistan, supporting and assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure that will support current needs and future expansion plans for integrating CISCO, Juniper, and other products from Arwen's product portfolio for clients across Pakistan.

  • Participate in deployments across Pakistan.
  • Responsible for creating HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design).
  • Responsible for opening and handling JTAC and Cisco TAC cases.
  • Create BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for both Cisco and Juniper products using Cisco configuration and Juniper Configuration tools.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise-level architecture team to implement network configurations including subnetting, VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN deployment at various locations.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting network issues.
  • Resolve connectivity problems, outages, or performance degradations.
  • Work with team members to address customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  • Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's) required to successfully perform the job:

  • Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
  • Ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.

Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification required for the position:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Technical certifications: JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA, CCNP.

  3. Expertise in Cisco or Juniper technologies.
