Technical Support Professional

The role of a Technical Support Engineer involves managing customer issues, training colleagues, and identifying trends. They assess the impact and prevalence of issues to determine root causes and report them to the Technical Lead/Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Exceed customer expectations in quality, timeliness, documentation, resolution, and experience.
  2. Resolve support issues related to Motive's products using available data and tools.
  3. Investigate errors/bugs; report issues to the Technical Lead/Engineering via Jira.
  4. Assess impact and prevalence of issues to determine root causes.
  5. Provide constructive feedback to Tier 1 agents for training and technical support.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Customer Support or software development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools for SaaS products.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn and excel.
  • Ability to perform in-depth root cause analysis.
