Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

About the Role:

The position of Electrical Systems Specialist exists to ensure seamless integration of electrical aspects within mechanical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in feasibility assessments for electrical aspects of projects, aligning with seniors' guidance and contributing to comprehensive feasibility reports.
  • Undertake material inspections for electrical components, offering recommendations and highlighting non-conformances based on stringent quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide support in monitoring electrical project execution at construction sites, checking for compliance with design specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards.
  • Verify project schedules and timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and identifying potential areas of concern.
  • Engage with vendors to ensure the selection of reliable and cost-effective electrical components and services.
  • Actively contribute to the installation, construction, and commissioning of electrical elements, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and industry standards within the gas or energy sector.
  • Assist in ensuring that electrical components adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Integrate electrical components into mechanical projects, ensuring holistic project functionality.
  • Review engineering designs, providing technical inputs for optimal electrical project specifications.
  • Contribute to the timely identification, reporting, recording, and management of key risks associated with electrical aspects of projects.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training initiatives to stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering.
  • Comply with the risk management framework.
  • Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
  • Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded, and managed in a timely manner.
  • Receive appropriate training in risk management.
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in Electrical /Electronics from HEC recognized university is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience is also necessary. PEC registration is mandatory.
