Job Description:

An electrical systems specialist is required to work on new projects involving the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems. This role involves hands-on experience in electrical erection, installation, and commissioning, as well as repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Erect, install, and commission electrical systems for new projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
  2. Repair and maintain industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.
  3. Overhaul alternators with a capacity of 18 MVA to ensure reliable power supply, minimizing disruptions and maintaining business continuity.
  4. Install and manage cables for 3-phase transformers up to 33 MVA, ensuring efficient transmission and distribution of electrical power.
  5. Install and manage HT and LT switchgear to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  6. Install and manage control cubicles to facilitate smooth system operation, optimizing performance and reducing errors.
  7. Manage cable trays, busways, and trunking systems to optimize electrical infrastructure, improving overall system efficiency and reliability.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work with industrial equipment, including alternators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements, with ability to ensure compliance.
