Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of GBV Caseworker. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support services, including case management and psychosocial support, to vulnerable women and girls who have experienced gender-based violence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide survivor-centered case management services, including assessment, counseling, and safety planning, in line with established guidelines.
  • Coordinate closely with the casework supervisor and seek support when required.
  • Distribute emergency cash and material assistance based on individual needs assessments and established protocols.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings and coaching sessions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a social work or humanitarian context.
  • Demonstrated commitment to core principles of GBV programming, including gender equality and survivor-centered support services.
  • Familiarity with government and NGO service providers, as well as excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain flexible, and apply experience and guidance to evolving challenges.
