Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Mechanical Equipment Fitter. This role involves the repair and maintenance of all mechanical installations and piping services, as well as troubleshooting problems in these systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out overhauls, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and services to keep them in perfect working condition.
  • Executing planned preventive maintenance activities on all mechanical equipment/services to prevent frequent breakdowns and increase their lifespan.
  • Recording all necessary information on job activities to maintain history and other relevant data in the facilities and equipment management system.
  • Inspecting and observing assigned equipment/services to minimize breakdowns and meet user needs.
  • FOLLOWING safety procedures and dress code at work.
  • Performing any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • A secondary school education is mandatory.
  • A certificate course in Plumbing is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience.
  • Techincal knowledge about Air compressors, Pumps, Medical Air and Vacuum, Electro-Mechanical, Pneumatic, and other equipment.
  • The ability to read Piping and Instrumentation diagrams independently.
  • The ability to understand and write simple English and Urdu.
  • Extensive knowledge of plant preventive maintenance systems.
