Senior Node JS Developer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team. As a senior developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs.

  • Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks.
  • Implement APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write efficient, well-documented code following best practices.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the Node.js ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4 years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
  • Proficiency in working with databases, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Good understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Solid knowledge of software design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with ReactJS is a plus.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and their integration with server-side logic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
