Women's Fashion Stylist and Designer

This is a creative role requiring a highly skilled fashion stylist and designer to partner with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the art director, creative director, concept, and merchant teams to develop cohesive styling and product information for photo shoots and marketing messaging.
  • Communicate product priorities to the team and ensure effective execution in the trend-to-customer process.
  • Style seasonal and monthly outfitting according to key looks and trends, and merchandise product assortments for marketing messaging.
  • Execute on-set styling and communicate asset expectations to the art director to ensure productivity on shoot.
  • Articulate information to editorial stylists throughout the process, particularly in high-pressure and multi-set environments.
  • Travel on photo shoots as needed to ensure that all styling is executed in an organized manner and is on-brand.
Merchandising Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the creative and art directors, concept, and merchant teams to create messages for site, emails, and social channels.
  • Copresent to cross-divisional partners and executive teams monthly styling and merchandising messages for feedback and approvals.
  • Work closely with merchants on a seasonal and monthly basis to recognize product depth and merchandise strong messages, shops, and web pages for women's apparel, accessories, beauty, and intimates storytelling.
  • Plan emerging ideas, category messages, and seasonal items and brands into cohesive styling and merchandising strategies.
  • Create shoot styling that supports and highlights trending product, and suggest new solutions based on current business that can be added into the monthly planning.
  • Partner with the web merchandiser to think through each part of the customer's experience and create product groups that fully support and tell each message. The products and styling should be well curated, edited, and planned fully presented to the customer to create a rich experience on the site.
  • Work with trend and concept to pull together seasonal overviews of key looks, big ideas, and volume attributes to support the women's styling team and the trend-to-customer process.
Job Requirements:
  • Creativity: Formulate a fashion design concept with creativity and originality.
  • Communication: Communicate ideas effectively with other members of the design team.
  • Leadership: Make final decisions on how a fashion project's vision will be presented, taking charge and making the final say on details such as measurements, fabrics, colors, shapes, graphic design, and other factors.
  • Technical: Utilize technical and artistic skills to execute creative ideas in a practical form, including graphic-design computer software or photography, illustration, and sketching skills.
