Job Title: ERP Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain modules to join our organization.

This is a key role where you will lead the functional delivery of both financial and supply chain modules, collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, implement process improvements, and ensure successful project delivery across financial operations and supply chain workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany accounting for optimal financial management.
  • Automate and validate Cost of Goods Sold and inventory clearing accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Correct misconfigured posting profiles and reverse incorrect transactions to maintain data integrity.
  • Document finance standard operating procedures and deliver user training to ensure smooth system adoption.

Supply Chain Domain:

  • Design and implement workflows for inventory movements, transfer orders, and cycle counts to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Resolve issues in item master data, including unit prices and units of measure, to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Optimize intercompany purchase order/sales order trade flows to streamline procurement and sales processes.
  • Implement inventory reconciliation and shortage/excess correction routines to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams for process mapping and improvements to enhance overall supply chain performance.

Cross-Functional:

  • Gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing, user training sessions, and SOP documentation to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Work closely with technical consultants for integration, reporting, and automation to leverage technology advancements.
  • Support business users during stabilization and post-go-live support to ensure seamless system operation.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on D365 F&O experience across Finance and SCM modules with proven expertise.
  • Minimum 2 full-cycle D365 implementations in both Finance and Supply Chain domains with demonstrated success.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Intercompany configurations.
    • Posting profile design.
    • Inventory journals and reconciliation.
    • Cost accounting and COGS logic.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills to drive business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with D365 Data Management Framework (DMF) for advanced data management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or embedded D365 reporting for data-driven decision-making.
  • Microsoft certifications:
    • MB-310 (Finance).
    • MB-330 (SCM).
