Test Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript and experience with modern automated testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.

Main Responsibilities:
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN AUTOMATED TEST SUITES FOR WEB AND MOBILE APPS USING TOOLS LIKE PLAYWRIGHT AND DETOX.
  • PERFORM FUNCTIONAL, REGRESSION, EXPLORATORY, RESPONSIVE, AND CROSS-BROWSER/PLATFORM TESTING TO ENSURE PRODUCT STABILITY AND USABILITY.
  • COLLABORATE WITH DEVELOPERS, PRODUCT MANAGERS, AND DEVOPS ENGINEERS TO UNDERSTAND FEATURES, CLARIFY REQUIREMENTS, AND PLAN TEST COVERAGE.
  • PARTICIPATE IN CODE REVIEWS AND PROVIDE FEEDBACK TO ENSURE NEW FEATURES ARE TESTABLE AND MEET QUALITY STANDARDS.
  • WRITE CLEAR AND DETAILED BUG REPORTS AND TESTING DOCUMENTATION.
  • MONITOR AUTOMATED TEST RUNS AND CI PIPELINES, AND ASSIST IN FIXING OR INVESTIGATING TEST FAILURES.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern automated testing tools (Playwright or Cypress).
  • Proven QA experience in both web and mobile testing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing (load and stress).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, AWS).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-driven.
  • Ability to work independently within cross-functional teams.
