Automation Project Lead

This role is focused on project management, particularly in automation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate project requirements and study specifications to create a thorough understanding of the task at hand.
  • Develop clean sheet designs for DCS and PLC/HMI systems.
  • Program/configure DCS and PLC systems with knowledge of at least 2 manufacturers.
  • Lead project engineers and distribute workload effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team on PLC/DCS projects.
  • Create control panel designs (mechanical and electrical).
  • Verify each activity to ensure accuracy and the health of the project.
  • Keep the project manager informed about the current status as needed.
  • Maintain available quality management systems and implement them effectively.
  • Participate in design and internal testing of DCS and PLC systems.
  • Review and approve all design documents and drawings thoroughly.
  • Maintain communication hierarchy among the project team as desired by the project manager.
  • Holding knowledge on INTECH's procurement and material processes.
  • Maintain and update the project plan and schedule.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and guide engineers to set it up.
  • Travel to project sites as required.
  • Assist with timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Follow up on all pending tasks and activities.
Job Specifications

Absolutely necessary is hands-on experience with instruments, multiple DCS systems, PLCs, and HMI systems.
