Financial Services Role

The Receivables Ledger Expert will be responsible for managing the company's receivables ledger and ensuring timely and accurate billing. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with customers and internal teams.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the company's receivables ledger and ensuring timely and accurate billing
  • Proactively communicating with customers and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and addressing internal and external queries
  • Working closely with sales and finance teams to optimize cash flow
  • Investigating and resolving unallocated payments or short payments
  • Communicating with customers regarding payment discrepancies
  • Following up on overdue accounts via email and phone
  • Sending out customer statements and payment reminders
  • Escalating chronic non-payments or disputes to the Finance Manager
  • Sending daily A/R aging reports to management
  • Preparing weekly cash collection forecast
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and customer account reconciliations
  • Setting up new customer accounts in SAP
  • Performing credit checks and risk assessments on new customers
  • Ensuring all contracts and terms are properly documented and filed
  • Logging, tracking, and resolving invoice disputes
  • Liasing with internal teams to resolve service delivery issues impacting receivables
  • Maintaining documentation for all escalations
  • Reconciling customer accounts, identifying and clearing unmatched transactions
  • Assisting with external and internal audit requirements related to receivables
  • Maintaining updated customer contact lists
  • Updating internal trackers for billing and collections
  • Supporting Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis and data requests
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
