Full Stack Developer Position

Job Title: MERN Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MERN stack developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. They will also have extensive experience with React.js and its core principles, including state management and lifecycle methods.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. They will design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to meet business requirements, collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to improve user experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in web development, focusing on the MERN stack.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles, including state management and lifecycle methods.
  • Solid understanding of Node.js and Express.js, including middleware and routing.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, including branching and merging.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, including deployment and scaling.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Docker.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and SASS, including layout and styling.
  • Experience with TypeScript, including type definitions and interfaces.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT, to secure applications.
