Job Title:Accounting Operations Manager Job Description:

The role of the Accounting Operations Manager is to oversee and ensure the day-to-day accounting operations run smoothly. This includes timely invoicing, recovery, accurate financial records, and effective use of ERP systems.

Responsibilities include generating accurate and timely invoices for corporate clients, events, and other receivables. The manager will also monitor accounts receivable, ensuring follow-up for timely collections and recovery.

Additionally, the Accounting Operations Manager will maintain accurate and real-time accounting records in the ERP system, post journal entries, manage ledgers, and ensure system-based approvals and documentation.

The manager will assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting. They will also oversee cash and bank transactions, ensuring accurate recording and timely deposit/reconciliation.

Furthermore, the Accounting Operations Manager will review revenue reports from the Property Management System and reconcile with the ERP. They will ensure proper accounting for room revenue, banquet sales, F&B, and other income heads.

The manager will also review and process vendor invoices after matching with POs and GRNs. They will prepare payment requests and coordinate approvals in accordance with standard operating procedures.

The Accounting Operations Manager will maintain vendor ledgers and ensure timely payments to avoid service disruptions. They will also ensure compliance with internal financial controls and standard operating procedures.

The manager will maintain proper documentation of vouchers, invoices, and supporting evidence for all transactions. They will support audit activities by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and maintaining transparency.

Finally, the Accounting Operations Manager will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries as required by management. They will coordinate with the finance team for reporting, reconciliations, and policy implementation.
