Job Title: Recruitment and Hiring Specialist

This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hiring process, from recruiting and interviewing candidates to onboarding new employees. The selected candidate will support store managers in personnel-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a Recruitment and Hiring Specialist who will lead our efforts in attracting qualified candidates through effective recruitment strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for posting job openings on various job boards, social media platforms, and in-store.
  • A strong screening process is essential, and the selected candidate will review resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and qualifications.
Interviewing and Onboarding:
  • The successful candidate will conduct virtual interviews with potential candidates, assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, and coordinate interview schedules and communication throughout the process.
  • They will also oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including completing necessary paperwork, training, and orientation as required, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Review, Report, and Follow-up:
  • The Recruitment and Hiring Specialist will review, report, and follow up on hiring activities regularly, maintain records of hiring activities, including applicant tracking and hiring metrics, and provide regular reports and updates to store management.
  • They will work closely with store managers to meet staffing needs and participate in team meetings to contribute to strategic workforce planning.
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in recruiting and hiring, preferably in the retail or convenience store industry, is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and HR management tools, are required.
