We are seeking a skilled Technical Content Creator to join our team.

About the Role

This role is part of our Global Communications team, responsible for producing high-quality technical content. As a Content Creator, you will work closely with engineers to plan, organize, write, format, edit, and release technical information deliverables, such as documentation, guides, tutorials, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create clear, accurate, and concise technical content by leveraging knowledge of writing principles, resources, and tools.
  • Edit, update, and review content based on project requirements to meet business goals and customer needs, in collaboration with other teams.
  • Ensure technical content is standardized for ease of use by stakeholders and innovate on documentation creation process to align with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, English, or related field and 4+ years of experience writing and editing software and/or hardware documentation and content, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate's degree and 6+ years of writing and editing software and/or hardware documentation and content, or related work experience.
  • OR High School diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of writing and editing software and/or hardware documentation and content, or related work experience.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with developer documentation.
  • Knowledge of structured markup language like Markdown or reStructuredText (rST).
  • Knowledge of the Docs-as-Code methodology.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of Perforce/GitHub.
  • Web content development and document delivery.
  • JIRA, Confluence, API documentation.
Additional Requirements
  • Good English communication (writing) skills – 6 -10 years of experience creating end-user documents in a high-tech environment.
  • Ability to design and develop technical information in a well-structured manner: concise and easy-to-use.
  • Proficient in DITA-based authoring, XML editing with Oxygen.
  • Familiar with graphics packages – Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Visio skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and semiconductor fundamentals.
  • Quick to learn.
  • Handle changes and ambiguity.
  • Team player.
