Data Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our data warehouse and related extraction, transformation, and load of data functions.

">

In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing the best possible ETL/BI process to meet those needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the data models and data marts that come from various source systems.

">

You will have a strong understanding of data flow design and will develop and maintain ETL scripts to acquire data from various source systems to load information into the Staging Area, the Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.

">

Your expertise in identifying opportunities to utilize objects and code to reduce development effort and enforce consistent business rules will be valuable in this role.

">

You will also identify opportunities for analysis and reporting solutions within the company and participate in the evaluation and selection of Data Modeling, BI, and DW tools.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in data engineering or related field">
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL">
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or IBM Infosphere Datastage">
  • Candidate with experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Cloudera, Talend for Big Data will be preferred">
