We are seeking an experienced data architect to design and implement a scalable solution for managing data from SAP ERP systems to support financial planning and analysis processes. This hybrid role allows the candidate to work in Pakistan (Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad) with the flexibility to work remotely and on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a cloud-based data lake solution to efficiently store, manage, and process large volumes of data.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ERP systems into the data lake.
  • Enable seamless data integration and synchronization to facilitate financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data security, compliance, and governance across the data lake.
  • Partner with business analysts, SAP specialists, and consultants to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in data architecture and engineering roles.
    • Proven experience designing and implementing cloud data lake solutions.
    • Strong expertise in integrating SAP ERP data.
    • Hands-on experience supporting financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expertise in AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and Kinesis.
    • Proficiency in ETL frameworks like AWS Glue or Apache NiFi.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP data structures and integration methodologies.
    • Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and other programming/scripting languages.
    • Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and BI tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in hybrid environments and adapt to changing business requirements.
