Assistant Manager Finance - A Key Leadership Role

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and process-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to drive the development of finance processes, SOPs, and internal controls. This role will be central in leading automation initiatives and process improvement projects, while also supporting the Financial Controller in reporting, compliance, and operational execution.

The ideal candidate has a passion for building systems that scale, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development, Controls & Projects: Lead the design and implementation of SOPs, internal controls, and scalable finance processes across all key functions.
  • Financial Operations & Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
  • Compliance & Cash Flow: Ensure compliance with SOPs, internal controls, and IFRS in all finance processes and reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's is a plus).
  • ACCA/ICMA qualified or CA finalist preferred.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a high-growth consumer or e-commerce business.
  • Proven experience in process development, systems implementation, or finance transformation projects.
