We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager Supplier Quality Assurance to oversee the quality of our suppliers' products and services. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Audits and Assessments
    • Conduct thorough audits of supplier sites to assess their quality control measures.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of current quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Document findings and develop recommendations for suppliers to enhance their quality practices.
    • Target: Achieve 100% compliance with audit checklists and implement recommended improvements.
  • Supplier Support and Development
    • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement effective quality management systems.
    • Provide training and technical guidance to suppliers to improve their quality capabilities.
    • Monitor supplier progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement.
    • Indicators: Improved supplier quality ratings, increased defect-free parts delivery, and enhanced supplier relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to enhance quality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new quality initiatives and best practices.
    • Stay updated on industry developments and share knowledge with suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
    • Target: Implement a minimum of 2 new quality initiatives annually and achieve a 10% reduction in defect rates.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Effectively communicate quality concerns and recommendations to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Facilitate supplier meetings and training sessions to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions and quality performance.
    • Indicators: Strong stakeholder relationships, efficient communication channels, and timely issue resolution.

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and have at least 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC within the manufacturing sector.
