A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

The SEO Specialist plays a vital role in maximizing the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to a website. This is achieved through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy, viral marketing, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, content strategy, information architecture, and more.

In this dynamic environment, an SEO expert must continually learn, fine-tune their skills, and experiment to discover how the industry is shifting. As a result, they must be adaptable and able to adjust their strategies accordingly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Optimization Strategies: Create plans that increase the company's website search engine results rankings
  • Execute Tests and Analyze Data: Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, identify trends, and insights to achieve maximum ROI
  • Manage SEO Campaigns: Oversee expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile differences
  • Collaborate with Editorial and Marketing Teams: Work with teams to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing
  • Research and Implement Search Engine Optimization Recommendations: Investigate and implement recommendations to improve search engine rankings
  • Create and Execute Link Building Strategy: Develop and execute a plan to build high-quality backlinks
  • Determine Measurable Goals: Establish objectives that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Create Compelling Website Content: Write engaging and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions to improve website search results

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Conduct Page Optimization for Search Engine Marketing: Ensure website pages are optimized for search engines
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Use tools like Google Analytics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department: Work with others to manage SEO strategy
  • Perform Keyword Research and Optimization: Ongoing research and optimization for new SEO keywords
  • Closely Collaborate with Web Development Team: Ensure web development best practices are followed throughout website content
  • Improve Website Architecture and Content: Adjust website structure, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions
