Automation Engineer

  • We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated test scripts, working closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, and collaborating with other teams to improve the overall quality of our products.
  • The Automation Engineer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to automation efforts, as well as contributing to the improvement of our automation framework.
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks is essential for this role.
  • Experience with BDD and Cucumber/Gherkin is highly desirable, as is familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Groovy.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, are also required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2-8 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools.
  • Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Software Automation Life Cycle.
  • Ability to write SQL queries in SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
