Automation Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to drive innovation in software testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing software tests for functional and regression testing, including automated and ad-hoc testing elements.

  • Develop cutting-edge automation scripts leveraging BDD frameworks and ensuring seamless integration across diverse platforms.
  • Maintain the whole automation script, working collaboratively with the development team to resolve identified defects.
  • Engage with the development team to identify and report defects using the JIRA defect tracking tool.
  • Execute automated flows on different servers like local QA, UAT, PROD.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Automation Life Cycle.
  • Strong grip on different automation frameworks, BDD and Cucumber/gherkin.
  • Good skills in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with programming languages preferably in Java, groovy.
  • Background working with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience.
