Test Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist with a strong focus on Selenium and Selenium IDE to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced QA professionals to work remotely on a dynamic and fast-paced project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Selenium IDE.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Maintain test environments and manage test data.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in automated testing using Selenium WebDriver and Selenium IDE.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Java.
  • Prior remote work experience.
