Software Quality Assurance Specialist Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Professional to join our team in ensuring the highest quality of software products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning & Strategy: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts covering functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
  2. Test Execution & Defect Management: Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications, identify defects using industry tools, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  3. Automation & Tools: Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for regression and functional testing, utilize automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, and integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
  4. Performance & Security Testing: Conduct load, stress, and performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and security compliance requirements.
  5. Quality Standards & Process Improvement: Ensure software delivery adheres to quality standards, coding guidelines, and best practices, participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, and suggest improvements to QA processes and development practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software QA and testing.
  • Strong experience in manual testing and at least 2+ years in test automation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Appium, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Knowledge of API testing, database testing (SQL), and mobile application testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • ISTQB or other software testing certifications will be a plus.
