Green Youth Movement Facilitator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Green Youth Movement Facilitator to lead our efforts in community youth development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the participation of beneficiary households in all phases of project implementation, focusing on social mobilization and community work.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute effective youth recruitment strategies in line with the role profile shared by the British Council.
2. Establish and manage Green Youth Movement clubs in local communities through democratic processes, promoting youth engagement and empowerment.
3. Foster a supportive environment for GYM clubs, facilitating leadership development, conflict resolution, and operational efficiency.
4. Maintain regular communication with the MEL officer, providing necessary reporting inputs as per standard monitoring formats.
5. Offer guidance and support to YLA teams under the GYM clubs, enhancing their capacity and performance.
6. Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop a comprehensive work plan for PYLI project implementation, focusing on efficient resource allocation and impact maximization.
7. Support district coordinators in organizing training programs and other community events, promoting the exchange of ideas and best practices.
8. Document success stories and lessons learned throughout the project implementation process.
9. Work closely with the MEL officer to prepare regular reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:
• Passion for working with youth and communities, fostering positive relationships and outcomes
• Basic knowledge of climate change and sustainability is beneficial, but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Proficiency in local language; basic English skills preferred
• Willingness to travel within the community, engage with stakeholders, and conduct fieldwork
