Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Engagement and Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the participation of beneficiary households in all phases of project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and recruit youth participants according to the role profile shared by the British Council through different recruitment strategies.
2. Facilitate the formation of Green Youth Movement clubs in local communities through elections.
3. Operationalize GYM clubs in local communities through project planning approaches, facilitating leadership development and dispute resolution.
4. Provide reporting inputs to the MEL officer as per standard monitoring formats on a regular basis.
5. Offer mentoring support to YLA teams under the GYM clubs.
6. Assist the Project Manager in developing a clear work plan for PYLI project implementation.
7. Support district coordinators in implementing training calendars and other events.
8. Capture success stories and lessons learned during implementation.
9. Collaborate with the MEL officer in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Passion for working with youth and communities
• Basic knowledge of climate change and sustainability is a plus
• Friendly and approachable attitude
• Fluency in local language; basic English skills preferred
• Willingness to travel within the community and conduct fieldwork
