Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems. This includes developing efficient Python scripts and applications for data processing, ETL, and data analysis. You will also be responsible for working with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines for ETL and reporting.
  • Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all ETL processes.
  • Automate and schedule ETL workflows using Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong experience with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API integration and data ingestion from various sources (REST, SOAP, FTP, LDAP, etc.).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Experience in cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
