Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and driving core financial processes and reporting for sales & marketing subsidiaries, including taxation and transfer pricing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of smooth financial operations in line with the company's policies, procedures, and best practices.

  1. Forecasting and Planning: Support sales forecasting & demand planning, create baseline forecasts, and maintain data and forecast integrity. Seek new approaches to improve forecast accuracy and analysis. Review sales inputs to develop and renew appropriate sales forecasts.
  2. Budgeting and Expense Management: Lead the annual budgeting and planning exercise for sales & marketing subsidiaries.
  3. Cost Analysis: Analyze expenses against budgets, recommend variances, and identify operational improvements.
  4. Audit and Compliance: Ensure adherence to company and international accounting standards, policies, and procedures across all markets.
  5. Financial Process and Reporting: Develop and document business processes and policies, support financial feasibility studies, and develop proposals for new projects or expansion plans.
  6. Credit Management: Lead group credit management, including approvals for new customers and reviewing existing terms.
  7. Adhoc Analysis: Lead financial analysis and root cause investigations, providing insights and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CIMA, or similar qualification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases (SAP, BI, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Ability to develop complex financial models, especially for cash flow planning and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Post-qualification experience of 3-5 years.
  • Experience as a Financial Controller in an MNC and in a Big 4 accounting firm.
