Job Description

Masters in Commerce, Economics and Finance with a minimum of 14 years of experience in Oracle Financial (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects, as well as Oracle E-Business Suites R12 (all modules).

Responsibilities:

  • Functional environment expertise includes conducting health checks on Oracle Applications (ERP), designing structural frameworks, aligning processes, mapping processes, reconciling subsidiary ledgers, and providing trainings.
  • Key areas of focus include discovery, solution development, road map creation, solution presentation, feasibility studies, analysis, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Candidates must have hands-on experience in implementing the full lifecycle of Oracle Financials (AR, AP, GL, FA) and Oracle Projects, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • A solid understanding of business processes and their mapping to Oracle e-business is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to independently provide business solutions, demonstrating effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP business processes and industry best practices is crucial.
  • A proven track record of business process automation and adherence to industry best practices is required.
  • This role involves leading consulting professionals who understand solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for innovating and continuously improving pre-configuration solutions and methods.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of pre-configured solutions to align with business needs are also key responsibilities.
  • Leading operations/projects to successfully deploy solutions and taking ownership of a particular solution offering are essential aspects of this role.
  • The ability to craft winning and deliverable solutions that offer a winning value proposition is critical.
  • Developing and executing a solution strategy and business plan that supports growth is another key responsibility.
  • This role involves providing expertise to identify and translate business requirements into software solutions.
  • New module implementation, existing functionality enhancements, and upgrades to new Oracle releases, including proper documentation, are also part of the job.
  • Coordination with end-user departments and other business users for day-to-day activities and amicable resolution of issues is essential.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and upcoming technologies is vital.
  • Collaboration with Oracle Support, System & Database Administration teams is also necessary.
  • Working with Report development teams for customized reports is another aspect of this role.
  • Leads the development of formalized solution methodologies.
