Site Reliability Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The role is based in Lahore and involves working on-site with occasional remote work.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a globally distributed team focused on weekend system reliability and incident response.

About the Role

You will support the uptime of a high-volume trading platform by owning monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting across complex cloud-native systems.

You will work closely with engineering and client-facing teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure institutional users have a seamless experience.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain reliability and performance of production systems, especially during weekends.
  • Respond to incidents, triage system issues, and implement fixes autonomously.
  • Own observability pipelines: monitoring, logging, alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Build infrastructure automation to reduce manual operations (e.g., with Terraform).
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Client Support teams to resolve production-impacting issues.
  • Improve system scalability and fault tolerance across AWS or GCP environments.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS or GCP (e.g., EC2, Lambda, GKE).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Linux systems.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
