Job Title: Property Manager & Operations Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager & Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the launch, relocation, and closure of dark stores, including site scouting, execution, and handover.

  • You will oversee building and facilities maintenance, asset management, and audits of 3rd-party maintenance contracts.
  • Your responsibilities will include supervising contractors on budgets, specialties, and project execution, as well as conducting site visits to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • You will handle and maintain permits, licenses, and municipal approvals in the system, ensuring compliance with zoning, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Another key aspect of your role will be planning and managing repair and maintenance schedules, maintaining strong relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effective and prompt issue resolution.
  • You will identify and assess potential sites for stores and warehouses to meet operational requirements.
  • Additionally, you will negotiate leases and contracts for cost-effectiveness and alignment with company goals.
  • As a key member of our team, you will also oversee acquisition, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning of assets.
  • Your expertise will be valuable in developing and executing preventive/corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities and equipment.
  • You will manage budgets for purchases, repairs, and maintenance, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Another critical responsibility is ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, preparing financial and operational reports on asset performance.
  • You will have the opportunity to stay updated on industry trends and adopt advancements in facility management technologies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or Commerce, and 3-5 years of experience in real estate and facility management.

  • You should be proficient with Google Workplace and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
