We are seeking an accomplished and compassionate leader to spearhead our childcare program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Daycare, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment for children, and managing a diverse team of staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

Child Development and Wellbeing
  • Ensure a high-quality, child-centred program that promotes child development and wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement activities that cater to the needs of children of diverse age groups while being sensitive to their needs and inclusive of all children.
Leadership and Management
  • Provide guidance and direction to staff members.
  • Manage resources, schedules, and personnel.
Staff Support and Development
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and empathetic work environment for the Daycare staff.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Parental Engagement and Communication
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with parents on their child's development and wellbeing.
  • Manage communication channels, including the daycare website, to ensure effective engagement and communication with parents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Hands-on experience working with children in various settings.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Qualification Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's (Hons) degree from a reputable institution.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
