We are seeking a highly skilled Translator to support our Audit team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our clients by providing high-quality translations that meet their needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will convert written documents, such as financial statements, proposals, feasibility studies and government documents, from one language to another while maintaining the precise meaning of the original text.
  • You will study source text to understand the meaning and convert it into another language to convey the original meaning, spirit, and feeling, using dictionaries and other sources to determine meanings of words and phrases and to establish their closest equivalent in the target language.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive, accountable and results-driven individual who can manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in English Language or Translation
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a translator role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access
  • Fine command of Arabic grammar
Ideal Qualifications
  • Track record with a leading audit firm
  • Formal certificate of translation from local governing body
