Job Overview

A Principal Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications.

This includes creating innovative solutions to complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all software meets the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
  • Enhance, modify, and repair existing code to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop, test, and implement configuration changes to software applications to meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, QA, and designers throughout the full software development life cycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 8+ years of hands-on coding experience.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira software, particularly building plug-ins and/or developing extensions for Jira.
  • Strong development experience with SPRING, Hibernate/JPA, Velocity Templating, Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), jQuery/JavaScript, and similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microservices, AI, ML, Python, ReactJS, React, and React.js is a plus.
