Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced senior quality assurance engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop automated test plans and scripts using industry-standard tools such as MS Team Foundation System or HP Test Director.
  2. Collaborate with application and business teams to gather requirements and design effective test cases.
  3. Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing framework to ensure thorough regression testing.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automated tests to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members on testing methodologies and best practices.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies to ensure continued excellence in testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
